REMEMBERING 9/11

9/11. To some it represents numbers. To some it is a date that "sounds familiar". To some it is a date, that comes by once a year, and an "event" is recalled and (perhaps) you see a "flag or two". To others it is a day that their family members, friends, neighbors, etc. died due to the spineless TERRORISTS attacks by Muslim Extremists.
These EXTREMISTS had been attacking the United States of America, consistently, for years (on average one attack every other year) during the "Clinton Administration". Sadly, the "Clinton Administration" chose to "confront", excluding the one time that they launched a missle into the desert the exact same day that they knew the Monica Lewinsky details (affair) were coming out, these TERRORIST acts...as a "law enforcement" problem.
There are EXTREMISTS here in the United States, and around the World, plotting/thinking/praying about killing Americans - Christians - Jewish people - etc. in the belief that (a) their Religion calls for it (b) they will go to Heaven and get 17 Virgins and/or (c) anyone who does not believe like they do...deserve to die.
For far too many Americans we forget about the ROOT of the anger/resentment/hatefullness that these EXTREMISTS had for us and have for us. On behalf of our Country, our children, and our future we cannot FORGET - MINIMIZE - and/or allow for the TRUE history of what occured to be..."changed" for political reasons.
America has done things, here and abroad, that it should not of done. America should take responsibility for it's actions and be held accountable. With that said these EXTREMISTS, those who support them, those who are SILENT to their evil, and those who monetarily fund them should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law.
To those who lost their loved ones, relatives, neighbors, co-workers, friends, etc. may you find some type of peace/comfort in the fact that I, for one, will NEVER FORGET what these EXTREMISTS took from us and will give my last breath in the prosecution and pursueance of these evil killers.
To those who try to say that "America is too blame" OR "Bush is too blame" OR anything else I say to you HOW DARE YOU DISTRACT FROM THE FACTS THAT EXTREMISTS COWARDLY KILLED INNOCENT PEOPLE on September 11, 2001. Spend your time STANDING UP to those who did these acts and focus your energies on telling all who will "listen/remember" that those responsible need to be captured and brought to JUSTICE.
I pray for this Country and for our fellow man (women, and children, of course) around the World. I pray for a time/day when America will be given the respect that it DESERVES. I pray for our children and those children of strangers who I will never see or have a conversation with. I pray for those who don't think like me, live like me, or want "peace/good things" for me. I pray for the next generation and for future generations.
On September 11, 2001 we lost thousands of lives due to these evil cowardly acts. Time goes on but the scars of that day will remain...forever.
The only way to ensure that we, or you and/or your family, NEVER AGAIN have to deal with another "9/11" is to root out this evil (around the World) and to stand together to make America even greater.
I never met those who died on September 11, 2001 nor have I met their families. I would hope that if I were on those planes, or at the Pentagon, on that "fateful day" that what happened to me would not be forgotten. I would hope that the desire to rid this World of that EVIL, and those EXTREMISTS, would burn...eternally. I would hope that my family would stand up when others try to change what really occured and/or to cast "blame" on others instead of the EXTREMISTS.
Hence the reason for this specific blog.
Whether it is September 11th or 20th or October or February or July or 2009 or 2900 we should always give our love/respect/prayers for those who died on September 11, 2001 and resolve to destroy those who participated in these terrible acts.
Sadly, life is "so very short" and in many ways and in many parts of the World (including in some places in the United States) LIFE is not as "respected/appreciated" as it should be. That is truly a shame because God gave us life and he gave each of us the "internal compass" to know what is "right" and what is "wrong". When a person stops listening/adhering to "right/wrong" then it becomes easier to do the wrong thing...without remorse.
It is not easy for the family members, our President, or anyone who actually lived through 9/11 to ever forget. This is not about what is "easy" but about what is "right".
Tonight, like most nights, I will say a prayer and remember those who gave their lives on September 11, 2001. I will not forget them and I pray that wherever they are (now) that they don't forget about us. Take care.
Nuff said.
