Kudos to Obama for becoming the 44th (elected) President of the United States.
On a (very) personal note this "historical moment" will SHATTER the mentality that has existed, and been put into unfair laws, concerning many aspects of...race.
As an AMERICAN CITIZEN I applaud his achievement, and will pray for his Presidency and all that I shall see, and will hold him accountable for his actions...and inactions.
To President Bush THANK YOU for keeping us safe and for standing by MOST of your convictions. However, you let us down MISERABLY concerning ILLEGAL Immigration, this "bailout", big goverment, mistakes in the War, etc.
Now we will see who Obama...really is. His words got him elected but his actions will "make or break" his Presidency. He has been "on the sidelines" and now he will soon be..."in the game". What he does will affect...all of us. I hope, and pray, that Obama has the heart and the shoulders to bear this burden and to make ALL Americans proud (from this day forward) of him as our President. If he fails it will NOT be because of his "race" and that is a WONDERFUL thing in deed.
President Obama, it is up to you to PROVE that you are a "uniter" instead of ....a great talker.
Nuff said.
