Holder says, today during his "visit" to Congress, that he "made mistakes" concerning the Rich pardon. Well, I made a mistake about 17 years ago and it is people like Holder who will NEVER forget it and/or allow me to forget it. In fact, my "misake" did not release - subject - etc. ANYONE to any "harm" yet I took (and will forever) responsbility for it and I will always say "I AM SORRY". There was NO "gain" for me and/or for those close to me (unlike in Holder's case). There are MILLIONS of people who "make mistakes" but don't have the opportunity to work for the Goverment, get a job, go to College, and/or get on the "Obama gravy train" let alone be in charge of ALL prosecutions throughout the United States. Do you think, for a second, that Holder "cares" about other peoples "mistakes" when he is PROSECUTING them? Of course not!
The Rich pardon was NOT a "mistake". It was an INTENTIONAL act, knowingly against the public interests, and DRIPPING with "conflict of interests". If this "mistake" were to have esclated into a (just for the purposes of debate) CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION it would be clear that Holder KNEW it was wrong and that it was done during the last minutes of the Clinton "presidency".
We are talking about Holder, a career PROSECUTOR, then REVERSING the "Judge/Jury" decisions SOLELY upon the desire of the President...how convenient.
Then Holder ALLOWED TERRORISTS, oh well they were Puerto Rican, to GET OUT OF JAIL (again) in spite of the Judge/Jury decisions. Rich and these TERRORISTS shared one thing in common and that was there MONETARY benefits to the Clintons.
Of ALL the people in the United States, who are TRULY deserving of Pardons and yet will never be in a position to get them, it is clear that Rich and these TERRORISTS got Pardoned SOLELY because of their connections to the Clintons.
This is WRONG regardless of the "I made mistakes".
In this "day and age" American cannot SURVIVE with "mistakes" like allowing KNOWN TERRORISTS to go free. Nor can America allow RACE to play a part in prosecutions. Nor can America sit by and continue to allow people without means, without connections, and without of their rights to ROT in jails - and/or be indicted - and/or be prosecuted - while the "if you can't afford an Attorney one will be appointed for you" FALSE mantra. In fact, in Virginia if you make OVER $ 200.00 (approximately) per week you are deemed able to AFFORD an Attorney! Does the American Public KNOW this? Is this REMOTELY fair? NO, it is NOT - it was NOT - and it should be CHANGED.
Also, there should be a PUNISHMENT against the Goverment (State, Federal, or Local) when you indite/prosecute ANYONE and they are found INNOCENT and/or NOT GUILTY. Why is it that this is NOT an option? Where can a person go to get back there name, their reputation, there sleepless nights, there money? NO WHERE and that is another reason why we can't have a PARTISAN PUPPET in the Attorney Generals' Office.
Any/all PROSECUTIONS, and/or PARDONS, should be FREE from Political connections - ROUGUE Agents - etc. Holder ADMITS that he "made mistakes" and I respect that BUT his "mistakes" should PRECLUDE him from being in charge of PROSECUTING Americans for their mistakes. This is not "rocket science" but it is the right thing to do regardless of what is "popular".
Nuff said.
