WHY is it that everyone, including the spineless Republican Congress, is SO affraid of standing up to Obama?
WHY is it that the Conservative Press, like the pathetic MSM, is SO affraid of INVESTIGATING what Caroline Kennedy has really been doing?
Does she have a tax problem? Has she been having an affair? Has she hired an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT?
How is it that the Democrats can send 200 ATTORNEYS/INVESTIGATORS to Alaska, to seek dirt on Palin, and we can't get the PRESS to INVESTIGATE Caroline Kennedy?
This "mentality" of being "scared" into INACTION is a symptom of the larger problem and that is that the Republicians have ALWAYS "taken the high road" and given Democratic Presidents "freedom" to appoint whomever. Look what the Democrats put Bush through - total HELL in his appointments - and now the Republicans have been "scared straight".
How do you defeat Terroists? By KILLING the leader and work your way down. Then you rebuild and educate and bestow rights.
How do you defeat Democrats? You bring to the attention of the American CITIZENS everything that they are doing and your don't stop, even for a "photo opp" with Obama (note: quit smiling and being happy to be in the room and STAND UP to OBAMA now!), until they RESIGN or get Voted out of office.
The Republicans let OBAMA, and Democrats, "CRY" about getting a MUSLIM TERRORIST wet. Yet, they let OBAMA and the Dems KILL INNOCENT AMERICAN BABIES without restrictions through the 9th month!
God doesn't forget those who are a "party" to the killing of innocents and neither should American Citizens!

I've been amazed that nobody has mentioned the *sameness* of Media coverage of JFK"s CAMELOT and Obama *Magic Kingdom* or whatever..I had never been a fan of Pro Football, but became a fan of anything on any channel to get away from the Kennedys..

One Citizen
This one citizen sitting here now indeed hopes, prays and writes for Obama's effectiveness. Lord knows we need some help with our image in the world, especially in Europe and in the Arab/Muslim world. The fight against the "evil network" has to use smart power. Hillary described this as quite variegated: books, bombs, diplomats, economists, smart politicians, relentless multi-dimensional application of time and brains, experience and energy. I've never been so hopeful.

And yet, one senses that clouds are gathering.

There might have been something special about JFK. We'll never know since he was cut down in his prime. He already had a reputation for debauchery.

Teddy burst that bubble if there was one when he killed Mary Jo. Almost every one of the Kennedy's who are in the public have been in one scrape or another.

The idea that if we give the clueless messiah enough time he and his lefties pals will figure out all the problems and things will start to work again.

Well friday proved the messiah is totally irrational. That the fool believes rush runs the repub party shows how desparate he is to find an enemy to run against.

So rush looks at the messiah and comes up with the conclusion that the new administration is headed towards more socialism.

Why is that any different from leg chills matthews and the hater olberdouche as well as millions of blacks who only see more spending and more handouts as the cure for what's wrong.

The messiah has is assbackwards when he says the economy is grown from the bottom up. Perhaps the trolls can enlighten the economists who say govt spending has never grown a country out of a recession.

It would seem that his years being mentored by wright, ayers and farakhan instead lead him to conclude he is here to make sure it's payback time for his beliefs whites are responsible for the faulires of blacks.

JFK was not a great Presdent by any measure, for those of us old enough to remember his election. The Kennedy family's history in politics has been whitewashed so as to be almost unrecognizable. Contacts with organized crime have been glossed over, thuggish behavior forgotten.

This is Getting Weird...
Obama has been compared to Lincoln, Roosevelt, Kennedy, the savior of the world, Jesus Christ, the messiah, been called a gift from God and who knows what else. One expects such wild-eyed over the top nonsense from liberals but when it appears on a conservative website something is wrong.

Other than they both are/were young, good looking and could make good speeches Obama and Kennedy have almost nothing in common. Kennedy campaigned on tax cuts, strong national defense and free trade and would be labeled a conservative if he ran today on the same platform he ran on in 1960. Obama is diametrically opposed to those positions, his fraudulent welfare program masquerading as a “tax cut” notwithstanding. Why is it people fawn on this former rookie senator with no executive experience and no real accomplishments benefiting anyone other than himself??

If Pres Nobama will not release his birth certificate, then I would begin impeachment proceedings. Why was the press so hot for Gov. Palin to release her medicl records?

I feel tyhat they elected a man who is not even a citizen of the United States, this is why he is trying to push his agenda through so fast before the past catches up to him. And it will, and when it does, I hope they tar and feather him and run him out on a rail along with the "new" Clinton regime!

In 2009 America since slavery ended here in 1864 - 145 years ago - no one here has slave ancestry to overecome. (BTW former slaves here were tracked down or duped as lots of people are now by Obama, knocked unconscious, bound and sold into slavery primarily by blacks to British and French slave shippers and traders primarily. Slavery still exists in Africa, the Middle East and other remote areas.)
Your parents and mentors do have an impact on your life. Like his believed to be father and stepfather, Obama's mentors are suspect characters.
If you can read you ought to read or have someone read to you Obama's books - Dreams From My Father and The Audacity of Hope. These autobiographies are fascinating and maybe even non-fiction in part.

January 20th was one of the saddest days that I can remember. The Obama Presidency
Obama's primary goal is to right all of the economic injustice put on black Americans during history. And he will put in place mechanisms to ensure that it does not repeat itself. That is all he really wants to accomplish.

His Presidency is about payback. It is about getting even.

It is unfortunate, though, that Obama has such a low opinion of black Americans - as though most need a hand-out to get ahead.

All black Americans want is equal opportunity to excel and achieve. They don't want to be "equal" because being equal means being ordinary. They want a chance to become extraordinary.

They want respect and dignity. Hand-outs do not lead to respect and dignity.

What the Democratic party hopes for them is to make them dependent, not independent.

Treating black Americans as a pawn to gain political power is truly a shame, and the Democratic party should apologizefor decades of disrespect.

Just because he looks like one doesn't mean he is one.

He could just as well be Brazilian and look the way he does.

His white mother and grand parents raised him. They mentored him on white culture and diction.

See, it isnt' about Obama working harder as an African American.

He had no slave ancestry to overcome.

Your ancestry does have an impact on your main mentors in life, your parents.

That BO reinstated the export of abortion to the rest of the world and have the American people pay for it.
It is thought provoking that BO himself beat the odds of not being aborted himself. No doubt the 40 million babies that have been murdered, one might have discovered a cure for cancer, alternative affordable energy fuel..the list goes on and on...but I guess that is just the luck of the KNIFE..huh?

Kennedy/Obama Connection
JFK kept his secret life secret. He had girls galore and the press knew it and covered for him.

Seymour Hersch had in his book that JFK had a recurring venereal disease for over thirty years.

But he was beautiful and had a beautiful family. The press adored him. Outward appearances mean so much to the left.

B.Hussein has many secrets he is keeping secret. The press knows it and they are covering for him . He was ordained to be president because his skin was black and it was time.

If he had been a Republican,even with his skin color,he would not have been taken seriously years ago. He and the press have done such a disservice to the country.

Is it any surprise that one of the first changes he made was to allow many more babies to be murdered?

No comparison, no connection
The attempts by those in the media to present Obama to the public bathed in shades of past presidents, laced with platitudes, while giving him a pass on the real potential for serious consequences from his executive orders alone, isn't just a red flag, it is an incendiary flare.

Both Obama and the Democrats understand that they may have only a two-year window in which to wield essentially absolute power and to steam-roll their agenda through congress. By all appearances, they have brought the media to heel, either willingly or by coercion. Those who they cannot control will be silenced through devious legislation or perhaps worse.

No, Barack Obama does not bathe in the reflection of Lincoln, Kennedy FDR or Washington, he is more in the light of those who believed they must control through power and oppression.

RICK WARREN: MAN of NO FAITH
During the inauguration pastor Rick Warren announced that Obama is a son of an African-American immigrant. The whole point is that Obama Sr. was never an immigrant in this country, he was here on a student visa and never even had a green card. The definition of the Natural born citizen, is one born in the country to parents (both) that are citizens of the country. For this reason alone Obama was never legitimate for presidency. Additionally there is no corroborating evidence that Obama was really born in Hawaii and Obama has reportedly spent over 800,000 to keep sealed his original birth certificate that costs $12 to obtain. Would any honest man do that?
I personally drove to Rick Warren's Saddleback church in Lake Forest CA and related to a pastor on duty and 3 assistants that I have important information about Obama's illegitimacy for presidency and asked for a meeting with Rick Warren before the inauguration. I never heard from him back. How can one calling himself a man of faith promote this fraud called Obama. I need a network of volunteers to meet with pastors, ministers, rabbis, priests- real men of faith of any denomination to build our numbers in the community of believers all over this great nation, to end the travesty of justice called Obama. They certainly had one thing in common, old Chicago, Mayor Dailey (“Vote early and often”) worked all night to keep those Polls open, and to make sure J.F.K. squeaked by in the 1960 election. The mayor should be commended for whipping those ward bosses into line driving those voters to the polls making sure each precinct voted the right way. I bet more than one head got cracked that night to straighten out someone’s thinking. It may be a good time to give a shout to the godfather old Joe Kennedy. As reported by that right wing tool ABC news, old Joe made an preemptive strike by going to the windy city with that winning smile and a bag of cash to meet with real godfather Sam Giancana to make sure various unions etc. got out and voted the honest way. Our current president a product of that system and our past president are both certainly indebted to the Chicago way.

Yeah there is a connection between J. Kennedy and BH Obama.
Want to know the real J.Kennedy and the political machine.
Read this book, not an easy read, makes you angry at times, might not be able to read much at one setting, however it is a must read for all those who think Kennedy was King.
The book : The Dark Side of Camelot, by Seymour M. Hersh. This book was a New York Times bestseller. Might be difficult to find was first printed in 1998. I challenge you who care about your country, read it!

Time
Is going to show the mettle of the man. So far we are seeing a man who gets upset when the adulation drops off. He has been in office a few days, but he was upset when he visited reporters to get his morning cup of worship and they dared ask him questions. Now he tells Republicans to stop listening to Rush (maybe that will inspire a few to listen).
The true depth of the new POTUS will show when he faces adversity from within or without, he is not showing signs of doing it well right now, and so far it has been a softball time. One of the things I admire about President Bush was his steadfastness no matter what was said about him, he continued to do what he felt needed to be done, not throw temper tantrums.

Cheap Talk vs. Reality
Until POBAMA reigns in Nancy Pelousy and Harry Reid and gets them to put the following on the shelf, there will be no spirit of bipartisanship in Congress:

1. Fairness Doctrine.

2. Card Check Legislation.

3. Abortion on Demand.

4. Legislation to remove restrictions on gays in the military.

5. Pelousy's rewriting of the House Rules to virtually shut the Republicans out of the legislative process.

Pelousy and Reid's hatred of Republicans is palpable and their aggressive partisanship is poisoning the well in Congress. They have earned their 9% approval rating.

Unless POBAMA gets those two under control, don't expect much.

Charisma counts
When you see Caroline Kennedy and hear her speak, you instantly dislike her. When you saw and heard John Kennedy or Robert, you instantly liked them. So it is more than family connection, it is that mysterious charisma that some people have and some do not. Obama has it; it is difficult for people to dislike him.

Take off the rose colored glasses Barone. They both did a lot of drugs too, so why not tie them together with drug use. We don't need this fake optimism, we need honest assessments of the way it really is from conservative columnists. it is certainly the 40 year Democratic control of Congress that has dug the grave and lowered the casket.

His dubious track record.
Michael, you're expressing an optomistic viewpoint which I'd like to believe has some merit. However, his liberal voting record and all the extremely socialistic campaign statements he made makes me doubtful that his philosophy will change. He's already signed some insane executive orders and it's only his third day. And with that idiot congress bowing to his every whim, I'm gravely afraid for the future of our great country.

There is a connection. The MSM coddled and protected JFK just as they have BHO. They were derelict in their duties to tell what they knew.

Kennedy may or may not have been a good president. He did not live long enough to see what he would become. He surely would not have dismantled the government as BHO is set on doing.
