McCain, like ALL politicians, use "political" terms like "Country first" and/or "we are all Americans", etc. However the fact is that we are NOT "all Americans" and there are those who do NOT put "Country first".
It is HIGH TIME that there was the statement, actions, and respect given to/for AMERICAN CITIZENS - first, last, and always!
Over these past years, when the economy was doing "ok", Politicians/Extremists could MASK the adverse effects on ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS by saying things like "they do jobs that Americans wont' do" and FALSEHOODS like that. However, the fact is that ILLEGALS DO take jobs and GOOD PAYING Construction Jobs away from American Citizens - and have done so for years now. Furthermore, the HB1 Visa program (like MANY Visa programs) are "slipped into" bills in Congress by the BOUGHT AND PAID FOR Lobbyists and their PUPPET POLITICIANS. There is RAMPANT abuse in the Visa Programs, which allow FOREIGNERS to come to OUR Country - take our jobs - undercut our wages - pay NO taxes - and reap the benefits of OUR Country, as well as NO "reasonable checks and/or balances".
It is time that the American CITIZENS held ALL of our "representatives" accountable and started demanding AMERICAN CITIZENS FIRST - last and always!
We need to SECURE our borders, EXPORT ALL of the Illegals whereby Court Orders have been issued to DEPORT, and MAKE the ILLEGALS that remain - fill out the required paperwork for POSSIBLE Citizenship after they (a) return back to their Country (b) admit/disclose ALL of their income and whose SS information they have been using as well as ALL of their assets (c) complete a THOROUGH Background Check and (d) get fingerprinted/DNA tested/Medically tested, do AWAY with the HB1 Visa (and all other Visa programs) (e) do away will ALL "benefits" to ILLEGALS (medical except an emergency, welfare, ss, education, college, etc.) and (f) make it a FELONY to enter/stay in our Country ILLEGALLLY.
Also, we need to make it a FEDERAL FELONY for anyone to aid/assist ILLEGALS in getting jobs/benefits and PROSECUTE the Employers/Supervisors/Owners - down the line - for EVERY ILLEGAL.
Then, and only then, will the American Citizens (those with College Educations and those who want to work) be assured that they are getting American Jobs - which they DESERVE.
IF there are ANY jobs "left over" then, and only then, should be consider allowing Foreign Workers to APPLY (but we should implement training programs for American Citizens so that THEY can get these jobs).
America is the GREATEST COUNTRY that God has ever blessed but it is being DESTROYED by greedy Politicians/Extremists that DENY American Citizens the "fruits of their labor" and/or their Constitutional Rights.
No other Country in the World allows their own Citizens to MONETARILY SUPPORT ILLEGALS, as they IMPRISION THEM, and to DENY the will of the people.
I believe in "helping one another" but when the "other" is STEALING from our Country - day in and day out with the "help" of people in power - the RULE OF LAW needs to be enforced and NEW LAWS (with real "teeth" in them) passed.
This Economy is a SYMPTOM of the problem and the CURE for the problem(s) is contained herein (in part).
I pray for this Country and as a PROUD AMERICAN CITIZEN I urge ALL AMERICAN CITIZENS to start putting AMERICAN CITIZENS FIRST and quit feeding into the "verbiage" that rewards "everyone that is in this Country"...legally or not.
