Economy, war in Iraq, war in Afghanistan, unemployment, uncertainity, MSM, changes all around.
Regardless of the "distractions", and/or legitimate concerns, that usually "divide/separate" us we all should be able to agree that the RIGHT TO VOTE is worth defending...even when it is...unpleasant.
Furthermore we should also be able to agree that ONLY United States Citizens, and those who "meet the legal criteria", should be able to register...and then vote. If we can't agree on these two FUNDAMENTAL points then let's postpone ALL Elections until we can.
With that said every United States Citizen should be OUTRAGED by the actions of ACORN currently...and historically.
I have "dealt" with ACORN, on a firsthand basis over a period of years, and the "concerns" that are being "aired" now are the EXACT same "concerns" that were applicable yesterday...last year...and every year since ACORN's existence.
ALL Law Enforcement Agencies (i.e. local, state, federal) should be working together to investigate EVERY compliant...fully. Then when even ONE incident of FRAUD is found that EVERYONE (from the "registar" to the "signer" to the executives/owners of ACORN) should be brought before a Judge - charged with the MAXIMUM penalty - and tried for their REAL CRIMES!
If ACORN is not fully, completely, and entirely CHARGED (for every case of fraud) then our laws are worth...nothing.
We have already "learned", sadly over a period of years, that our laws concerning ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION are not a priority nor are they enforced with the same "consistency" as they should be.
There are CONSEQUENCES for us allowing our Elected Officials to "pick and choose" which of our Laws they choose to "enforce". Now it is being confirmed, from one State to the next to now a total of (11) eleven, that there is MASSIVE Voter Registration FRAUD occuring by ACORN just before the "most important Presidential Election" of our time/generation and during a time of War?
Where is the OUTRAGE? Where is the LIBERAL/BIASED Media? Where are the Sentate/Congressional Investigations? Where are the front page magazine stories?
Why is it that when it "benefits" Liberals/Democrats that it is "minimized" or "spun"?
I know that if the "tables were turned" that after the FIRST "complaint" about fraud that the Dems/Libs would have had Attorneys filing civil complaints, Pelosi on 24/7 talking about the "American People" (note: the American People did NOT buy/accept your book there "Speaker"), and Reid would be "quivering" while speaking about the "election theft attempts".
We have to WAKE UP and stay AWAKE...night and day because if we don't then one day we will wake up and NOT recognize this Country and/or be subjected to Laws/Officials who "pick and choose" what you will do - what you can't do - and what you read/think/feel even more than occurs now.
The time for "talk"...is over. Let's act TOGETHER and consistently and demand EXCELLENCE for we have "settled" for far too long...in silence.
